Sent Items not updating with new messages

I haven't used the forum's message feature since 2005. Now when I send messages they no longer show up in my 'Sent Items' box, however they do successfully reach their target. My Inbox works fine.

PS: My forums name got changed to 'Hii' after the new naming rules and I never got to select a new username. Can I get a name change to something that I don't hate?
